Walk On

The Champions Who Walked Among Us

In todays world, where beauty has been twisted by the media and given us a poor perception of ourselves, it is always nice to read a poet who has been able to defined the true richness of the beauty and where it can be found. This poem, Diamondly, by Linnea Larsen, along with the picture describes the true beauty that many of us have forgotten, and I want to pass it on to you my readers.
Ciao,
Patricia

Short of stature,
Rotund of waist,
Nothing spectacular,
Not even a trace.

She doesn’t mind,
She doesn’t care.
The image in the mirror
Is what matters to her.

For she seeks not
The world’s point of view,
But only that
Of her supreme beholder.

Ebony hair crowns
Marbled skin,
Lashes thick shade
Amethyst eyes.

Chiseled nose tops
Full soft lips.
Princess shoulders end at
Diamondly finger tips.

And legs, of course,
She must admire.
Feminine, shapely,
Going on forever.

Tall of stature,
Thin of waist,
Everything spectacular,
Smile of grace.

    • Thank you, Debbie. Linnea Larsen is one of the best poets, I know. I enjoy all of her poetry, because it flows from her heart and is based on her faith in God.
      God bless you also.
      Shalom,
      Patricia
