patgarcia:

Good morning everyone,
Here is a beautiful poem of hope by Selasie Bulmuo that I would like to share. All of us go through struggles, but it takes courage to renew your hope by painting a picture of a better day.
Shalom,
Pat Garcia

It’s 3am
Just can’t sleep
All night long
I’ve tossed and turned
Contemplating
Imagining
My fate of yesterday
It’s been pretty grim
Now stressing my mind
About what tomorrow holds
Questions flitter and float about
Unanswered in the quiet night
What is it I did not do
Why am I stuck in this rut
How I envy those asleep
Who closed their eyes
And sailed away
To lands of pleasant dreams
While I stay awake
Stuck in sleepless nightmares
That simply won’t go away
Imagination’s rife
I see my future
Stretched out ahead of me
Like a blank piece of canvas
I’m an artist afraid to draw
I hear the shrill sound
The siren of an ambulance
It pierces through
The stillness of the night
Startling me out of despair
Somewhere this night
Is another soul
Fighting to stay alive
And here I…

  1. I really liked this and the idea of painting our future! I think I need to add in some more colors myself! God bless you and thanks for sharing this!

  2. Thanks for this courageous post. Be well.

  3. I am glad that you follow Selasie, Patti! She does write well and inspiring prose and songs.

    • Good morning Liz,

I found Selasie through you. I follow two or three of your recommendations because they are food for my soul.
Hope you have a great day.

      Ciao,
      Patti

  4. For a minute, I thought you were sick? Is this person writing this fighting a disease or something? I hope she is hopeful.

    • Hi,
Hope you are fine. No, I am not sick, but I always take the month of December to wind down and the month of January in the New Year to do my own planning so that I know in which direction I am headed.

This poem is from a woman who is very healthy. She writes poems of hope, about staying persistent, and never giving up that greatly encourage me.

Hope you have a prosperous New Year and receive many readers for your blog and thank you for inquiring about me.
      Ciao,
      Patricia

This blog documents the genealogy and the arrivqal of the Buehler Family out of Ansbach, Germany, who became the Biller family of Shenandoah Coyunty and Barbour County, West Virginia. It documents the research that I have done to establish the genealogy of the Buehlers' line that arrived out Ansbach. This is the direct line of my sisters and brothers that orginated from Johann Christof Buehler. The spelling of Buehler was changed somethime around 1786 to Biller.
